John Anderson and his Wife (Alpha Factory)

£95.00

A charming and very rare group figure depicting John Anderson and his wife, the subjects of Robert Burns’ poem John Anderson, My Jo.

This figure is part of a rare series of Alpha Factory figures depicting John Anderson and his wife at various stages of life. Another example - depicting John Anderson alone - is listed elsewhere on this site.

The figure presents very well and is in good restored condition. There is reasonably good restoration to the wife’s right arm. There are some firing flaws to the top of the wife’s hat. Otherwise, the figure is excellent.
