A very rare and desirable figure depicting John Anderson from the Robert Burns poem John Anderson, My Jo.
This figure is attributed to the Alpha Factory and is part of an elusive series of figures depicting the various ages of John Anderson and his wife.
The figure presents well and is in good condition though the over-glaze black of the hair and shoes has been retouched. There are some stable firing flaws on the back of the figure and some small flakes (not retouched) to the front of the hair.
