A fabulous and beautifully made little figure of a zebra, produced by the Thomas Parr Factory.
The zebra stands with one leg raised on a naturalistic base decorated with shredded clay moss.
This is a figure of excellent quality - well modelled and beautifully glazed.
It is offered in very good condition - the only flaw to note is that the zebra’s right ear has been reattached, though this is very subtle and does little to detract from its decorative appeal. All four legs, both ears, and tail are original. A lovely example of a very fine figure.

Height: 4.75”
Date: c. 1855
