A very fine figure generally accepted to depict the Scottish poet Robert Burns, attributed to the Alpha Factory.
Burns is modelled sitting wearing a long cobalt jacket, yellow waistcoat, pink breeches, and orange necktie. He holds an open orange item in his hands - possibly a snuffbox.
The figure is beautifully modelled and decorated with all the vividness and clarity one would expect from the Alpha Factory.
This figure displays superbly well. There may be professional restoration to the left hand and wrist but such is its level of professionalism and practical invisibility that I cannot even be certain.

Height: 7.5”
