A very rare and intricately made pastille burner in the form of a two-storey building made by the Dudson Factory, described as a ‘Pagoda’ in the Dudson reference book.
This beautiful and impressive porcelain pastille burner features many delicate details - columns, window lattices, an archway, and several handcrafted flower petals. It exhibits several hallmarks of the Dudson Factory of this period - the earthy-coloured base with gilt swirls, bright green and cobalt, the flowers, and gilded highlights.
The figure is in good structural condition although there are some chips and losses to the flowers, particularly those on the garden arch.
