A lovely figure depicting a standing musician holding a stringed instrument.
He wears a cobalt belted jacket, white shirt, green trousers, black boots, and a plumed yellow hat with a blue feather. He is modelled atop a white base with a gilt band. This very attractive figure is beautifully coloured and well composed.
There is probably a pair to this figure, possibly depicting a female musician with a pipe.
The figure is offered in excellent restored condition. There is professional restoration to the hat and plume, left hand, and neck of the instrument, as well as a professional repair to the right hand. This restoration has been carried out to a very high standard. and the result is a figure which displays beautifully.
