Milton wears a cobalt tunic, pink breeches, and a peach-coloured cape. He leans easily on a covered column, a scroll (or similar) in his left hand and a book in his right.
This figure pairs with a similar figure of William Shakespeare. These pairs were produced in various styles and in varying degrees of complexity.
This figure is in excellent original condition. There is some light wear to the tip of the nose and some small nibbles to the base - many of them pre-glazing.
