A very rare and powerful figure of Jesus Christ with his hand outstretched.
Christ, with grey hair, wears flowing robes decorated with an unusual and simple yet very effective pattern of black highlights. He beckons with his right hand and has his left hand outstretched. He stands on an octagonal base which is decorated with a simple black stripe.
The figure presents very well but both hands have been restored. The restoration is not glazed but, visually, the restoration is sympathetic. There is some light rubbing to the black highlights of the folds of the sleeves.
