A very fine and beautifully modelled figure depicting a huntsman leaning against a rocky structure with a rifle in his right hand and a child sitting by his left leg.
This is a figure of excellent quality. The depth and details of the modelling is superb and the decoration is highly proficient. The man’s right leg - crossed over his left - is independently modelled.
A variation of this figure which includes a spaniel and game bird is known to exist.
This figure is in excellent condition. There is highly professional, all but invisible restoration to the man’s neck and left arm. There is a firing flaw by the butt of the rifle.
