A very sweet and naïve diminutive figure depicting a girl standing in front of an affectionate, oversized goat.
This little figure is a variant of a larger figure (pairing with a similar figure of a boy and goat) depicting the same scene. The subject is tender and endearing and the decoration and modelling rather legible for the size.
The figure is in good condition with no damage. There is some fritting and failure of the glaze in places but otherwise this is a nice example of a diminutive pastoral figure.
