A delightful little figure depicting a girl riding on the back of a goat.
The girl wears a pink spotted dress and orange shoes. She sits on the back of a black and white goat, its right foreleg raised. She holds onto its long horns. The scene is set on top of a richly textured rocky white base with a gilt band.
There is old restoration to the girl’s neck, and both of the goat’s ears have been restored. The restoration is competent and the figure displays nicely. There is some discolouration to the girl’s arms. It has some excellent, very appealing qualities - beautifully modelled and decorated.
