Fisherman and Fishwife

£75.00

A large pair of late 19th century figures depicting a fisherman and fishwife, each carrying a net and basket of fish.

The figures present well when displayed. The fisherman has a large crack emanating from the underside of the base about four inches up the side of the figure, and then laterally about two inches across the back. The fishwife is in excellent condition with a small superficial flaw beneath one foot. The brassy gilt has failed on both figures.
