Equestrian Circus Performers

£195.00

A rare and fabulous equestrian figure depicting two young circus performers.

A boy and girl, holding a ribbon, stand on the back of a prancing horse wearing an elaborate saddle cloth. The scene is modelled on a green base with shredded clay moss details.

The model of the performing children also appears on a similar figure in which they are depicted standing by a wall.

This superb figure is beautifully modelled. The horse has independently modelled left legs and head. The figure has real depth and height.

This fragile figure is offered in excellent original condition with no damage, loss, or repair. There are some very small, discreet, stable firing flaws to the girl’s ankles and some light flaking to overglaze black features. A wonderful, joyous example.
