Children with Ponies (Alpha Factory)

£185.00

A very fine and rare pair of figures depicting children standing next to ponies.

This fabulous pair has, in the past, been identified as the Prince of Wales and the Princess Royal, but this seems very unlikely. They bear the stylistic hallmarks of the Alpha Factory.

A remarkably well made pair, these figures boast vibrant colours, careful modelling (including independently modelled outer legs for the ponies and left leg for the male figure), and a thick, healthy glaze.

Both figures are in excellent condition. There is a very faint, shallow hairline around the front-right leg of the male’s pony and a tiny patch of wear to the back-left leg of the female’s pony.
