An exceptionally sweet and unusual little porcelain figure depicting a boy sitting in an enclosure with three pet rabbits, one in his hands. The figure may have been made by the Dudson Factory.
This lovely little figure is well made and features several individually modelled elements - the rabbits, the boy’s legs, the stump on which he is sitting, and his forearms. He wears a most unusual yellow cap and a green jacket.
The figure is in very good condition but the fragile overglaze green enamels and black enamels show signs of extensive flaking.
