A very sweet and well-modelled pastoral figure depicting a boy holding a bird in one hand and a tenanted bird’s nest in the other.
The boy wears a yellow jacket, patterned waistcoat, white shirt, pink trousers, and black shoes. His jacket cuffs and shirt lapels are gilded. He stands next a tree trunk on a naturalistic, moss-covered base.
This figure is beautifully decorated in the manner of the Parr Factory. There is an errant fleck of paint to his right hand and some small stains elsewhere but aside from this the figure is in excellent condition.
