










































































SOLD - Wedgwood Creamware Platter, Countryside Scene (c. 1770)
A very large and striking early Wedgwood creamware serving platter featuring an elegant transfer design of a countryside scene in black and a sculpted, scalloped rim.
The platter is in good condition with no large chips or cracks. There are some very small spots of rubbing to the rim in places where the glaze has been lost. Kiln soot has settled in the glaze over much of the body.
