An impressive, large transfer decorated Spode pitcher produced by W. T. Copeland & Sons at some time between 1847 and 1867.
Measuring just over a foot in height, this pitcher features a blue floral transfer decoration, a scalloped body, and an ornate rococo style handle.
The pitcher is in generally good condition. A chip to the base has been filled and repainted and this is very discreet. There is a small chip to the top-most moulded component of the handle.
Height: 12.25”
Date: c. 1850s
