






































Sunderland Plaque, Scott of Southwick - John Wesley (c. 1830s)
A very attractive pink Sunderland plaque attributed to Scott of Southwick featuring the well-known copper transfer of John Wesley, founder of Methodism, with a dedication and the words ‘The best of all - God is with us’.
The plaque features a broad, ribbed pink rim and a chamfered back. It is equipped with wire for hanging.
It is in excellent condition with no damage and only the lighted wear commensurate with age.
A previous dealer’s sticker has been left in place for provenance purposes (see provenance below).
