A delightful creamware plate with a colourful design of a three-masted ship, probably produced by the Herculaneum Pottery in Liverpool at the end of the 18th century, or the turn of the 19th. The plate is unmarked.
The plate is in good condition with no cracks or chips. There is some wear to the body, particularly around the rim, and light scuffs to the glaze, as well as patches of discolouration and crazing. All such signs of age should be visible in the images.
