A very fine and ornate early Worcester blue scale dessert plate with scalloped edges, decorated with very deep colours in the kakiemon style and richly adorned with gilt.
This is an uncommonly fine example of early Worcester blue scale porcelain and is offered in excellent condition. There are some small spots of flaking to the gilt and some soot in the glaze but there is no damage or restoration. This is as good an example as you will find.
