An elegant Spode creamware reticulated chestnut basket with an accompanying stand.
The scalloped edges and reticulations are decorated with a grisaille-esque brown and the handles bear a foliage pattern in the same.
Both baked and stand are in good condition. There is some wear to the overglaze enamels, some discolouration to the base of the stand, and some light scuffs to the rim of the basket, but otherwise both parts are undamaged and present well.
